General Information
The utility Administration department mails residents monthly bills for water, sewer, storm water drainage system and trash collection. Sewer service charge are based upon water consumption. Bills are due and payable upon receipt. Since problems have occurred in the past with mail service, we recommend allowing at least 5 business days for City Hall to receive your payment. If any bill for these services remains unpaid 20 days after the date of the bill, a 10% penalty is assessed. If unpaid after 30 days from date of the bill, service may be discontinued or disconnected until all bills are paid in addition to reconnection/service continuation charge of $20.00.

There is a night drop located beside the drive thru on the north side of the building for after hours and weekends. All payments deposited in the night drop are processed each business day at 8:00am. Payments placed in the night drop after 8:00am will be processed on the following business day.
For Service
Required:
- Requests for service must be made in person.
- A $15 service charge and a security payment must be paid before service will be connected.
- The security payment for regular meters is $120 for renters and $80 for homeowners.
- Proof of ownership is required.
- Security payments for meters other than 5/8" vary depending on size.
Security payments are refundable upon closing of account. Security payments earn interest which is paid to the existing customers in the form of a credit on their September billing, or at the time the account is closed.

If your meter is enclosed in a locked fence area, or you have a dog that is kept in this area please contact the Utility Administration Department so that special arrangements can be made for reading your meter. The following is a breakdown of a utility bill with each service listed:
