    3. South Daytona Community Trust $1,500 Academic Scholarship is now accepting applications. Submission Deadline is April 29, 2022.
    4. Annual Egg Hunt will be held at Reed Canal Park, 919 Reed Canal Road on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. There will be other activities including a bounce house, petting zoo, face painting and a visit from the Easter Bunny.

Those matters included under the consent agenda are self-explanatory and not expected to require discussion for approval. Items will be enacted by one motion.         3. Consideration of approving the 2021 Community Redevelopment Annual Report which highlights the accomplishments, activities and projects that occurred this past year in our Community Redevelopment Area (CRA).

        4. Resolution No. 2022-06:  A resolution of the City Council of the City of South Daytona, Florida, designating community wide special events for the year beginning in April 2022 and ending in March 2023; providing for resolutions that conflict herewith; providing for severability; and providing an effective date.  First and only reading.

        5. Consideration of approving a Work Authorization with Mead & Hunt, Inc for the design work necessary to replace Lift Station #1 pursuant to the City’s  Master Agreement and Continuing Contract for Professional Design Services as prioritized in the current fiscal year (FY 2021-22). 

D.     REGULAR AGENDA

    1. Resolution No. 2022-05.  A Resolution of the City Council of the City of South Daytona, Florida, authorizing the City Manager to submit an application for Financial Assistance to the Volusia County ECHO Grant Program for improvements to Magnolia Park; providing for matching fund contribution; and providing for an effective date.  First and only reading.

    2. Ordinance No. 2022-01. An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of South Daytona, Florida, making a Small-Scale Amendment to the Future Land Use Map of the City’s Comprehensive Plan by changing the Land Use Designation of 2900 South Ridgewood Avenue, Parcel 5333-00-00-0100, from Light Industrial to Mixed Use 2; and providing for conflicts, severability, applicability, and an effective date.  Recommended by the Planning and Appeals Board on February 16, 2022.  First Reading.  Public Hearing.
