  • United Way of Volusia and Flagler Counties has launched the COVID-19 Relief Fund to aid in recovery effort.  They will be working with local partners agencies to distribute emergency funds to those in need.

  • Adapt Behavioral:  Telehealth Only Adapt is providing services via telehealth and have begun opening new cases through telehealth this week. Our administrative staff are working primarily from home, but we have routed our desk phones to our work cells and are still able to be reached by phone, email or fax (which we are checking throughout the week). We are able to accept referrals at this time for Volusia, Flagler and St. Johns counties.

  • Halifax Traumatic Loss Program: All of our group meetings have been cancelled. At present we are still providing services via telephone call only as of today. We are able to still take referrals over the phone and provide telephone counseling/support in Volusia and Flagler Counties. We are hoping to have some telehealth services in the future. RENTAL AND MORTGAGE ASSISTANCE

Volusia County’s Community Assistance Division is offering two programs that can provide relief to families and individuals negatively impacted by the coronavirus through loss of employment. Assistance will be provided on a first-ready, first-served basis. A limited number of applications will be accepted based on funding availability.

Rental assistance
Eligible renters can apply for rental assistance for payment of late, current and, if they remain eligible, future payments. Accepted applicants may receive up to $1,500 a month for three months.

Applicants must have an active lease in their name and be able to document a loss of income as a direct result of COVID-19. Additionally, the dwelling must be in Volusia County, excluding the city limits of Daytona Beach and Deltona. Rent must have been current as of March 13, and the household income must be at or below the area median income level.

Mortgage assistance
