    3. Approval of minutes: City Council Meeting – December 10, 2019

    4. Resolution No. 2020-01; A resolution of the City Council of the City of South Daytona, Florida, authorizing the adoption of the 2020 Volusia County Multi-Jurisdictional Local Mitigation Strategy; providing for conflicting resolutions; providing for severability; and providing an effective date. First and only reading.

    5. Resolution No. 2020-02 – A resolution of the City of South Daytona, Florida calling for a General Election to be held August 18, 2020, and a Runoff Election to be held November 3, 2020 (if necessary) for the purpose of electing council members for Mayor, Seat 1 and Seat 4; setting forth the dates for qualifying; authorizing appointment of the clerks, inspectors and deputies; designating polling places for the voters; appointing Lisa Lewis as Supervisor of Elections and custodian of the voting machines; designating the Deputy City Clerk as election official; providing for the dates and times of opening the polls and early voting; designating the Volusia County Canvassing Board as certifying authority for the election; and providing an effective date. First and only reading.

    6. Consideration of approving a Second Amendment to the Structure Lease Agreement for the Cell Tower Site with New Cingular Wireless PCS.

  5. REGULAR HEARING

    1. Consideration of approving funding and subsequent staffing of the Public Works Superintendent of Operations Position.

    2. Consideration of approving the reclassification and a title change for the Community Development Specialist position.

    3. Consideration of awarding a bid to Ten-8 Fire Equipment Inc for the purchase of a new custom pumper fire truck and associated loose equipment not to exceed $522,366.56.

    4. Ordinance No. 2020-04; An ordinance of the City Council of the City of South Daytona, Florida amending Section 5.10 (Building Permits and Inspection Fees) (F) (Placard Fee) of the City’s Code of Ordinances creating the procedure for inspections when a placard and all associated documents are not posted in a conspicuous place easily accessible by the inspector as required by the Florida Building Code; providing for severability; providing for conflicting ordinances; and providing an effective date. First reading.
