How do I order a lien search?

For your convenience, you may use the online portal at www.orangedata.com to order a lien search which includes open permits, code enforcement cases and outstanding utility balances.  Please note that the request does not include RECORDED LIENS.  Liens against the property are recorded with the Volusia County Clerk of Court at www.clerk.org.

Effective December 1, 2021, all lien inquiry requests will be handled by Orange Data (website: https://www.orangedata.com).

For your convenience, you may use the online portal at www.orangedata.com to order a lien search which includes open permits, code enforcement cases and outstanding utility balances.  Please note that the request does not include RECORDED LIENS.  Liens against the property are recorded with the Volusia County Clerk of Court at www.clerk.org. 

In accordance with City Code of Ordinances, Article 21, a fee of $45.00 is required for each Lien Inquiry Request per parcel ID.  You may pay by major credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express) to Orange Data. 

Please include the complete address and parcel ID when placing orders via portal.

Please note:   Any money due to the City must be mailed directly to the City, payable to City of South Daytona Attention: Finance Department, PO Box 214960, South Daytona, FL 32121-4960. A copy of the lien search results from Orange Data must be included to ensure payments are properly applied.
