Applicants must complete an online application for the South Daytona Police Department, accessible via the SDPD APPLICATION link. When applying for a sworn position, candidates will need to undergo the following evaluations: 

  • Oral Board Interview
  • Background Investigation
  • Psychological Evaluation
  • Polygraph Evaluation
  • Physical Agility Test
  • Interview with the Chief of Police
