13th Annual KAILYNNE QUARTIER Memorial Ride
Event Description:
The South Daytona Lions Club, along with the South Daytona Police Department, and the South Daytona Citizens Alert Council, is hosting the 13th Annual Kailynne Quartier Memorial Ride, Saturday, September 18, 2021. All types of vehicles are welcome.
Kailynne Quartier, a beautiful 13-year-old, lost her heroic battle with brain cancer on July 16, 2007. Kailynne was the daughter of Retired Captain Doug Quartier, a 35-year veteran of our Police Department.
The South Daytona Lions Club is sponsoring this Memorial Ride as a fund-raising event, with the proceeds benefitting numerous local charities, programs, and foundations. The picnic lunch is a fund-raising event by the South Daytona Citizens Alert Council with proceeds going to support programs for First Responders.
The Ride will start at the South Daytona Police Department with Pre-ride registration from 8:00 AM – 9:45 AM. Sharply at 10:00 AM (kickstands up), the Ride will commence leaving the parking lot. Stops will be made at New Smyrna Beach Harley Davidson, Deland Police Department, and Bruce Rossmeyer’s Harley Davidson (Destination Daytona). The final stop will end at the South Daytona Piggotte Center, 504 Big Tree Road, South Daytona. After the ride, a picnic lunch will be served. A $20.00 donation for each participant is appreciated. Refreshments will be provided at each stop.
