Blaine O'Neal Memorial Golf Tournament

All proceeds benefit the South Daytona Community Trust furthering their efforts to support the Residents of South Daytona.

The Trust’s most profitable event, the Blaine O’Neal Memorial Golf Tournament will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at Cypress Head Golf Club. Proceeds from this event benefit many programs of the Trust that provide financial assistance to residents of South Daytona.

The tournament is named in memory of Blaine O’Neal who served as the Mayor of South Daytona for five years before his sudden passing in 2010. Blaine was a life-long South Daytona resident who had a deep love for the City. He was a strong supporter of the nonprofit South Daytona Community Trust. In memory of his commitment to the City, we host the 17th Annual Blaine O’Neal Memorial Golf Tournament.

One of the programs that is supported by the Trust is the Community Outreach Assistance Program that aids qualified homeowners in need of residential home repairs. Examples include, a new roof, air/heat replacement, or tree removal, as well as installation of handicap access. In addition, the Trust is currently offering a Driveway Expansion Project for South Daytona residents. The Community Trust Scholarship also awards $1,500 to a South Daytona high school student who has worked to better our community through volunteerism.

We are soliciting your assistance and support in making this golf tournament a successful event. You can help by registering to play, become a corporate sponsor, sponsoring a hole, or by donating items to be used in the golfer bonus bags or as raffle/auction prizes. Your donations play a large role in making this event a big success. All registrations and donations are tax deductible. We are expecting approximately 100 golfers, and this is a great venue to promote your business, products, and services.
