Patrol Request
In an effort to provide a greater police presence in the City, The online Requested Patrol link is a new tool for the Citizens of South Daytona. Once a request is made, Officers and their Supervisors will be notified of a request for heavy police presence on a designated street. This notification will remain in effect for 14 days following the request. The citizen will then be able to monitor the number of times officers are patrolling the requested area(s).
It’s as simple as providing the name of the street the resident is requesting patrol for. A description box is provided if there is a particular concern you are wanting officers to be looking for. Examples may include suspicious persons, vandalism, carbreaks, etc.
NOTE: The information will be updated every other day for the Requested Patrol. Once the 14 days have expired, the listed street will be removed from the requested patrol list. A new request can be made at any time after the old request expires.
