City of South Daytona – Invitation to Bid for US1 UNDERGROUNDING – PHASE 2 DECORATIVE STREETLIGHTS

Notice is hereby given that the City of South Daytona is soliciting bids for BID NO. 25-ITB-017, US1 Undergrounding – Phase 2 Decorative Streetlights.  Sealed bids will be accepted in the City Manager’s Office, City Hall, located at 1672 S. Ridgewood Avenue, South Daytona, Florida, until 2:00 P.M. on July 22, 2025, at which time bids will be opened in the Council Chamber Room and publicly read aloud.  Bids received after the above time and date will be returned unopened.  All Bids will be evaluated to ensure they contain all required forms in order to deem the Bidder responsive or non-responsive.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK:  The work includes the construction of 14 decorative streetlights, including poles, arms and fixtures, along with associated work including, pull boxes, conduit, concrete sidewalk modifications, coordination with FPL, maintenance of traffic and restoration. The work is part of an overall project to underground the existing overhead utilities along US1 between McDonald Street and Ridge Boulevard.

NON-MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE: 

There will be a Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference for the project on July 10, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. at City Hall at 1672 South Ridgewood Avenue, South Daytona, Florida.  All attendees to the Pre-Bid Conference must sign in. The representative of each Vendor shall be an authorized employee of the Vendor and shall sign in accordingly.
