Certified Backflow Prevention Device Installation, Repair and Maintenance Services

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of South Daytona is soliciting bids for Certified Backflow Prevention Device Installation, Repair and Maintenance Services BID NO. 23-B-015.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Qualified specialists trained and certified by the University of Florida T.R.E.E.O. Center Backflow Prevention Technician Training Institute or Florida Water and Pollution Control Operators Association (FWPCOA) for the installation, repair, and maintenance (including regularly scheduled testing) of domestic and/or fire suppression system backflow prevention devices.  Results will be uploaded to BSI Online upon completion of work. The specialist will be responsible for any and all fees associated with utilizing the BSI service. 

Bids will be accepted in the City Manager’s Office, City Hall, located at 1672 S. Ridgewood Avenue, South Daytona, Florida, until 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 13, 2023, at which time bids will be opened in the Council Chamber Room and publicly read aloud.  Bids received after the above time and date will be returned unopened.  All Bids will be evaluated to ensure they contain all required forms in order to deem the Bidder responsive or non-responsive.
