  5. REGULAR AGENDA

    1. Resolution No. 2020-39 a Resolution of the City Council of the City of South Daytona, Florida declaring the results of the General Election held on August 18, 2020; providing for conflicting resolutions; providing for severability; and providing an effective date. First and only Reading.

    2. Resolution No. 2020-40 a Resolution of the City Council of the City of South Daytona, Florida appointing the Vice-Mayor of the City of South Daytona, Florida; repealing resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict with this resolution; and providing an effective date. First and only Reading.

    3. Resolution No. 2020-42 a Resolution of the City Council of the City of South Daytona, Florida authorizing and approving an amended and restated loan agreement with Wells Fargo Bank, National Association related to the reset of the interest rate on its Capital Improvement Revenue Note, Series 2013; providing for repeal of inconsistent provisions; providing for severability; and providing an effective date. First and only Reading.

    4. Ordinance No. 2020-21 an Ordinance of the City of South Daytona, Florida amending Article V, Zoning Regulations, Section 5.6, subsections (E)(2)(C) of the City's Land Development Code to allow six-foot tall fences in side corner yards; repealing all inconsistent ordinances or parts thereof; providing for severability; and setting forth an effective date. First Reading.

    5. Consideration of appointing a member of the City Council to serve on the TPO Board as the City representative.

  6. PUBLIC HEARING

    1. Ordinance No. 2020-17 an Ordinance of the City Council of the City of South Daytona, Florida, amending Chapter 4 (Animals and fowls), Article 1 (General), Section 4-8 (Keeping livestock or reptiles prohibited) and Section 4-13 (Number of dogs, cats, and rabbits that may be kept at residence) of the Code of Ordinances to allow for the ownership of pot belly pigs on residential lots under certain conditions; providing for severability; providing for conflicting ordinances; and providing an effective date. Second Reading. Public Hearing. Passed first reading October 13, 2020.

  7. SPECIAL CONSIDERATION

    1. Consideration of appointing a member of the City Council to chair the selection committee whose task will be to evaluate and rank the proposals received for contractual legal services.
