    1. Approval of minutes:  City Council Meeting – May 11, 2021

    2. Consideration of approving Interlocal Agreements between the City of South Daytona and the Volusia County Property Appraiser and Tax Collector to Levy, Collect, and Enforce Non-Ad Valorem Assessments utilizing the Uniform Method for the Levy, Collection, and Enforcement of Non-Ad Valorem Assessments, as provided for in §§ 197.3632 and 197.3635, Florida Statutes.

    3. Added Item from C.R.A.G. Meeting: Consideration of approving a Demolition Grant Request in an amount not to exceed $3,600 for the removal of all structures, fencing and debris at 2919 South Ridgewood Avenue.  Item was presented and reviewed by the Community Redevelopment Agency prior to the City Council Meeting.

    1. Resolution No. 2021-15 A resolution of the City of South Daytona, Florida, approving the sale and authorizing the City Manager to execute the necessary closing documents to transfer the property located at 1854 James Street; providing for severability; providing for conflicting resolutions; and providing an effective date. First and Only Reading.

    2. Consideration of approving an Outdoor Amplification permit for the 2021 Dance Recital for Kinetic Expressions Dance Academy located at 3100 South Ridgewood Avenue on Saturday, June 12, 2021 from 4:00pm to 9:00pm.

    3. Ordinance No. 2021-09 Amusement Centers An Ordinance of the City of South Daytona, Florida, amending the City of South Daytona Land Development Code to revise regulations related to Amusement Centers and Amusement Games or Machines; Amending Section 2.2 of the Land Development Code to add Definitions relating to Amusement Games or Machines; Amending Sections 5.5(J)(2) and (3) of the Land Development Code to remove Amusement Centers as a permitted use and to permit Amusement Centers as a Special Exception in the Business General Commercial (BGC) Zoning District; Amending Section 5.2, Table 2 of the Land Development Code to revise references to Amusement Centers and Amusement Arcades; Amending Section 5.7(C)15 of the Land Development Code to revise the criteria for Amusement Centers permitted as Special Exceptions; Amending Section 5.8 of the Land Development Code to remove Amusement Centers as a Special Use; and providing for recitals, administrative actions, codification, conflicts, severability, and an effective date. Recommended by Planning and Appeals Board 5/19/2021.  Public Hearing.  First Reading.

    4. Ordinance No. 2021-07 An Ordinance of the City of South Daytona, Florida, Amending the City of South Daytona Land Development Regulations to clarify regulations related to recreational vehicle storage; amending sections 5.5 to provide that recreational vehicle storage in the Business Heavy Commercial District and the Light Industrial District shall be a special exception rather than a permitted use; amending section 5.7 to clarify special exception criteria for RV and boat storage, parking and rental; providing for conflicts, severability, applicability, and an effective date. Recommended by Planning and Appeals Board 4/21/2021. Public Hearing.  Second Reading.  Passed First Hearing 05/11/2021.

    5. Ordinance No. 2021-08 An ordinance of the City Council of the City of South Daytona, Florida, Amending the City of South Daytona Code of Ordinances to include a new Article II in Chapter 3.5 (Amusements and Entertainments) to be entitled Simulated Gambling; providing for Sections 3.5-125 to 131 containing definitions, area of enforcement, intent, prohibition of simulated gambling devices, affirmative defenses, exceptions, conflict with state law, enforcement, penalties; providing for conflicting provisions, severability and applicability; and providing for an effective date. Recommended by Planning and Appeals Board 4/21/2021.  Public Hearing.  Second Reading.  Passed First Hearing 05/11/2021.
