  3. Consideration of approving a Special Event Permit application involving outdoor amplification at 919 Reed Canal Road (Reed Canal Park) on Saturday, November 19, 2022, between the hours of 11:00 am and 6:00 pm for the City of South Daytona’s BBQ and Bluegrass Festival.
  4. Resolution 2022-27. A Resolution of the City of South Daytona, Florida, authorizing the City Manager to execute a 5-year extension to the Franchise Agreement with Peoples Gas Systems; providing for severability, conflicts and an effective date. First and only reading.

 E. REGULAR AGENDA

11. Resolution No. 2022-28. A Resolution of the City Council of the City of South Daytona, Florida, declaring Douglas Quartier, elected to Seat 2 and Lisa O’Neal, elected to Seat 3; providing for conflicting resolutions; providing for severability; and providing an effective date. First and only reading.

12. Resolution No. 2022-29. A Resolution of the City Council of the City of South Daytona, Florida, appointing the Vice-Mayor of the City of South Daytona; Florida; repealing resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict with this resolution; and providing an effective date.  First and only reading.

13. Consideration of extending the approval of utilizing the Building Department Reserve Fund to cover the costs of owner/builder permit fees related to Hurricane Ian (including state taxes and fees) until January 15, 2023.

Added Item: Resolution No. 2022-30.  A Resolution of the City Council of the City of South Daytona, Florida, declaring a state of local emergency in response to  Hurricane Nicole; making findings; and providing for penalties, conflicts, severability, an effective date, and a termination date.  First and only reading.
